• This is a beautiful gift to a wonderful friend. We both love going to art shows in the SF Bay Area, and if this book wasn't so heavy and comprehensive of every painting in the Met, it would surely go with us on our journeys. I love that each painting has it's own full page, and you can turn to the back of the book for all the info you want on each piece. It's a great book.
• The book us very well organized (chrinologjcally), has great illustrations that are easy to see and text describing them on separate pages, which makes the reproduction of paintings much more visible.
• Excellent book for the price. The pictures are good and the backgrounds on the artworks are just right. Good value for a good price.

• A comprehensive cookbook with recipes to appeal to beginners and experienced IP cooks, has a good balance of plant-based, meat-centric, classic, and more interesting recipes. This cookbook is big, and when I first open it, I strongly encourage to read the Introduction. It was really helpful information that gave me a better grasp of the central premise of the book. Each Chapter also opens with 3-4 pages of FAQs and tips about using the recipes in the chapter. Overall, I’ve tried a handful of recipes and they turned out great. Very happy with this.

Instant Pot is a definitive answer for a cooking gadget with all the essential tips and data to make the cooking simpler than at any other time this book has demonstrated an extreme moment pot cookbook with some tasty and sound formulas. • I am very happy to read this book. This is really an excellent book. After getting my Instant Pot it was difficult to find the cookbook that will have both good content and and good recipes.   There is no content listing for recipes so a person is left trying to find one that sounds good or spend the day going through them. If author is too lazy to make a decent Content then I am too lazy to hunt.
  Plus most of the recipes are keto diet.
• I love this book! I needed serious help when I first bought my Instant Pot.This book is filled with delicious, easy recipes for any occasion. I have tried some recipes of this cookbook and all my dishes were delicious. I highly recommend this book for those who want to eat healthy and tasty food.

Gli episodi della Serie del Commissario Olivieri si svolgono a Florida, un immaginario comune della Versila, in Toscana.
Il suo Commissariato si occupa di furti, ville svaligiate, modesti problemi con l’attività dei trans brasiliani o prostitute tradizionali.
Solo occasionalmente può capitare una complicata storia di una setta che aveva tenuto in “ostaggio” una giovane donna, conclusasi tragicamente a causa di un genitore esasperato.
Di solito i rari fatti di sangue vengono risolti con sicurezza dal commissario Matteo Olivieri che assomiglia a Clint Eastwood, monta il cavallo Bill e indossa un cappello da cow boy.
La moglie Simonetta, d'inverno, lavora alla Scuola Elementare di Florida come maestra. D’estate, invece, gestisce insieme al fratello di Matteo, Giovanni, lo Stabilimento Balneare La Vela.
E’ una bella donna mora, ottima cuoca. Per fortuna di Matteo non è gelosa e soprattutto nell’estate è molto impegnata nella cucina del Bagno.
Il commissario, oltre al fatto di assomigliare a Clint Eastwood, prova molto interesse per le donne.
La dottoressa Serena Nobile, Pubblico Ministero, ha un debole per lui e gli affida indagini per le quali potrebbe utilizzare i commissariati di Viareggio o Lucca.
La storia
Il secondo episodio inizia in una giornata serena dove nel mare all'improvviso si alzeranno onde e s’incresperà l'acqua con un forte vento, le imbarcazioni che erano uscite con mare calmo, si troveranno in grave difficoltà.
Siamo ancora nel mese di marzo, la vita al Commissariato di Florida va avanti tranquilla, sino a quando si risveglierà tutto ad un tratto come quell'improvvisa burrasca. Nei giorni seguenti il mare restituirà due cadaveri. L'enigma che avvolgerà il loro riconoscimento, sarà piano piano chiarito dall'intuito del Commissario Olivieri.

Since 1985, photographer Phyllis Galembo has traveled extensively to photograph sites of ritual dress in Africa and the Caribbean. In her latest body of work, collected in this new publication, Galembo turns to Mexico, where she captures cultural performances with a subterranean political edge. Using a direct, unaffected portrait style, Galembo captures her subjects informally posed but often strikingly attired in traditional or ritualistic dress.
Masking is a complex tradition in which the participants transcend the physical world and enter the spiritual realm. Masks, costumes and body paint transform the human body and encode a rich range of political, artistic, theatrical, social and religious meanings on the body. In her vibrant color photographs, Galembo highlights the artistry of the performers, how they use materials from their immediate environment to morph into a fantastical representation of themselves and an idealized vision of a mythical figure. In a gorgeous, fascinating photographic survey of Mexico’s masking practices, Galembo captures her subjects suspended between past, present and future, with their religious, political and cultural affiliations―their personal and collective identifications―displayed on their bodies.
Photographer Phyllis Galembo (born 1952) received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1977, and was Professor in the Fine Arts Department of SUNY Albany from 1978 to 2018. A 2014 Guggenheim Fellow, Galembo has photographs in numerous public and private collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the New York Public Library. Her photographs of ritual masks in Africa, the Diaspora and beyond have been the subject of several monographic publications, including Maske (Aperture, 2016).
